Cornerstone Senior Named National Merit Finalist

Cornerstone Senior Named National Merit Finalist

Join us in congratulating Cornerstone Senior, Hannah Jones, on being named a 2026 National Merit finalist! This distinction places Hannah among the nation’s most accomplished and promising scholars.

The National Merit Scholarship Program, conducted by National Merit Scholarship Corporation, recognizes fewer than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. Finalists are selected based on their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, strong academic record, demonstrated leadership, meaningful extracurricular involvement, and an outstanding recommendation from school leadership.

Throughout her years at Cornerstone Academy, Hannah has distinguished herself through consistent academic achievement, thoughtful leadership, and faithful service. Her teachers describe her as insightful, disciplined, and steady — a student who approaches challenges with determination and who encourages those around her with confidence and genuine care.

Hannah will now advance in competition for National Merit Scholarships, which will be awarded this spring. Regardless of the outcome, being named a Finalist is itself a remarkable achievement and a testament to Hannah’s dedication and character.

Cornerstone Academy celebrates this milestone with great joy and gratitude. We commend Hannah for her hard work and faithfulness and look forward to seeing how she will continue to impact her community and the world.

Herzog Foundation Hosts Cornerstone Students

Cornerstone seniors Hannah Jones and Ian Fischer had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Faith & Nation Student Forum, hosted by the Herzog Foundation. The premier four-day retreat brought together top Christian high school seniors from across the country to explore how faith intersects with America’s founding principles, leadership, and public life.

During their time at Faith & Nation, Hannah and Ian engaged with national leaders, strengthened their ability to defend a biblical worldview, and built meaningful friendships – all while growing as Christ-centered influencers in our culture. We are proud of them for representing Cornerstone Academy so well and look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to shape their futures for His glory.

Recipes Around the World

Recipes Around the World

Our sixth-grade students are traveling around the world through food, learning recipes from different cultures and traditions. The experience reminds them that every culture reflects God’s creativity and design. As they learn to appreciate the traditions of others, they are also growing in gratitude, curiosity, and wisdom—virtues at the heart of a classical Christian education.
