We’re Glad You’re Here

Dear Cornerstone Academy Families,

It is my joy to welcome you- whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year- to Cornerstone Academy, a Classical Christian school serving the Gainesville community with gratitude, conviction, and hope. At Cornerstone Academy, we are continually reminded that education is never merely the transfer of information. It is the formation of the whole person- mind, heart, and soul- ordered toward what is good, true, and beautiful. As a Classical Christian school, we labor to assist parents in the sacred task of educating their children by offering an excellent classical education shaped by a biblical worldview. Our desire is that this partnership would bear fruit in students who are not only well taught but deeply formed- young men and women growing in godly character and increasingly marked by a love for Christ that shapes all of life.

JOIN THE PARENT ACTION COMMITTEE (PAC)

At Cornerstone Academy, we believe that strong schools are built by strong partnerships between families, teachers, staff, and administration. Our Parent Action Committee (PAC) exists to give parents a voice and provide opportunities to support and encourage our school community throughout the year.

PAC members help organize and support a variety of events and activities, including Fall Festival, Teacher Appreciation Days, the Spring Talent Show, the Last Day of School Picnic, and many other special events that make Cornerstone such a wonderful place for our students and families.

Whether you have a few hours to volunteer or would like to take a more active role in planning events, we’d love to have you involved! Benefits of joining PAC include:

Meeting and connecting with other Cornerstone families

Earning volunteer service hours

Supporting our teachers, staff, and administration

Helping create memorable experiences for students

Having a voice in strengthening our school community

No special experience is required- just a willingness to serve and be part of what makes

Cornerstone special!

If you’re interested in learning more or joining PAC, please email Bethany.m.mayberry@gmail.com. We look forward to partnering with you!
